What are we looking for?

We are looking for an analytical, problem-solving UI Designer with a customer-oriented attitude and a strategic and creative mindset to join our team in Finland. A pinch of good vibes, interesting characteristics, and an inbuilt urge for lifelong learning are common nominator for us Wunderers – and we hope you have these as well. UI Designer of our dreams would be:

• A true professional who is passionate about high-quality, accessible and user-friendly digital services
• Familiar with digital product design methods and practices and used to working in an agile manner
• Able to turn the ideas into user stories, task flows, and visually appealing UI prototypes
• Comfortable moving between planning phases & tasks and knowing how to identify and implement all the assignments in different phases
• Interested in making things understandable and easy to use
• Collaborating closely with clients to help them drive forward their business
• Assisting clients in defining their digital strategies and needs
• Capable of justifying solutions to the team and the customers
• Able and willing to travel and visit clients at their premises
• Experienced with larger and continuous projects

You are used to do:

• Prototyping
• Establishing and refining the customer’s visual identities
• Participate in design sprints as part of a team
• System thinking

UI Designer will support the product owners, project leaders and the implementation team in making design decisions. UI Designer is ready to participate in every step of the project and to provide the skills to ensure the best outcome, regardless of whether the assignment is for the whole service or individual usability improvement.

We wish you also are:

• A seasoned professional with ideally +3 years of relevant experience and a curious mind
• Self-managing team player with a positive attitude
• Actively participating in hands-on work
• Capable of having more than one project & client at the same time
• Proficient in both written and verbal English and Finnish
• Preferably holding a relevant higher education degree
