Raising accessibility awareness in LATA conference

On February 4, 2021, the annual Latvian Open Technology Association (LATA) Conference will take place. This will be the 14th time the conference brings together organisations and individuals that use or are interested in open source solutions, and this is the first time the whole event will be online only. The theme of this year’s conference is not coincidental – “How to stay open in the new era” revealing the benefits and challenges of current and oncoming times.

Wunder will contribute to this event with a session by our Accessibility expert Otso Lahti and share our vision on “How to create a digital solution that belongs to everyone”. Close to one billion people in the world have some form of permanent or temporary disability. By ensuring that your digital services are accessible, you make your services open for everyone. The process of learning about accessibility might feel overwhelming at first, but with the open and curious mind and guidance of our Otso, the LATA audience will learn the main principles that we use at Wunder when developing the digital projects of our clients. and
